1.PERSONAL INFORMATION

Name:      JuCheng Yang 

Dr. Ju Cheng Yang is a special professor of Haihe scholar in College of

Computer Science and Information Engineering, Tianjin University of

Science and Technology, Tianjin, China. He was a professor in Jiangxi

University of Finance & Economics ,China. He received his  M.S. and

Ph.D. degree from Chonbuk National University, Republic of  Korea.

He did his post-doc at the Advanced Graduate Education Center of Jeonbuk,

jeonju, for Electronics and Information Technology-BK21(AGECJEIT-BK21) ,

Republic of  Korea .He is also a visiting professor in  Chonbuk National

University,too. He has published over 50 papers in related international

journals and conferences until now. He is the book editors of four books

in biometrics( Intech, Austria). He has served as editors/reviewers of

international journals  IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics &

Security, Pattern recognition, Neurocomputing, Information Technology 

Journal and so on, and PC members of conferences such as VISAPP’06,  

ICNC'06-FSKD'06, IPCV’08, IMPRESS’09 and so on. He was the

registration chair of ICMeCG’09 and the publicly chair of ICMeCG’10.

He owns a Chinese patent in biometrics, too. His research areas

include image processing, pattern recognition, biometrics, computer

 vision and information security.
